Ahoy there, Malika! Great to have you alongside here at planDisney! In a short time, you'll be basking on the decks of the
Disney Cruise Line fleet, relaxing and taking it all in, just lettin' off steam...now where have I heard that before...?
In any case, you're so close to your Disney Cruise Line vacation and I'm sure your checklist is getting smaller and smaller! I'd usually ask if you've done your
Online Check-In yet, but as your question is ABOUT part of that process and you were on top of things just six hours after your window opened (talk about a planDrew-approved level of attention!) we're obviously past that point - so let's dive right in!
We sailed on over to chat with a cast member about what may delay approval for you! We were assured that the process takes time, and sometimes your status can still read "pending approval" even the week of your sailing! You may have thought this process was entirely automated (like I did) but once you've uploaded all the information, pictures and documents, it all gets verified by a real live crew member! We were also told that if there was an issue with any of the photos you submitted, the crew would have reached out to you by then, so no worries on that part!
Now, if you get to around three or four days away from your sail date and you still aren't seeing the "All Clear," I definitely suggest
calling a crew member directly to check if there are any issues you can clear up! You probably are aware that call volumes are at an all time high at the moment, so I suggest calling as soon as the phone lines open or any time that's not a traditional time people would take a break from work to call! I've had luck around three hours after the phone lines open as well, which seems to be when the first group of Guests have made it through and had their questions answered!
