How long are the passes I purchased good for? If I wanted to go sometime in September or November, would the passes still be valid?

Hey there, hi there Caitlin! Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited to hear you are thinking about a fall visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!

You are more than welcome to purchase your tickets now for your fall trip. One-day tickets purchased this year are valid now through December 30, 2023. Multi-day tickets purchased this year are valid now through January 12, 2024. Once multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days from the first day of use.

Along with purchasing tickets, you will need to make theme park ticket reservations for the dates that you wish to visit the park. Theme Park Reservations currently can be made about 120 days out. So while you can purchase your tickets now, I would wait until you are in that 120-day window. This is because theme park ticket pricing is tier-based, so if you purchase tickets now you would need to make reservations for a random day to be able to complete the checkout process. This means you could end up picking a day with a different tier than what your actual visit day is going to be. If you pick a higher tier day than what your day will be you will be overpaying. If you pick a lower-tier day, you would actually have to upgrade that ticket. This just makes it much more complicated than just waiting in my opinion.

I would set a reminder on your calendar for 120 days out from your arrival date, so you will be ready to purchase your tickets and make reservations with ease!

The only way around this would be if you were interested in booking a Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package. With these packages, you would be picking a Disneyland Resort Hotel or Good Neighbor Hotel for your stay and bundling that with theme park tickets. This would allow you to purchase the tickets now and then give you a link to make the theme park ticket reservations on your own, which you would be able to do 120 days in advance. I really do love staying on property, and I was so excited to hear this week's announcement that early entry access into the parks will be returning for hotel guests this summer!

Caitlin, thanks again for stopping by planDisney with your question. I am so excited for you to start planning your fall visit! Come back and see us again soon!
