Hi Sarah! Welcome to planDisney! A Disney Dining reservation at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort sounds deliciously amazing! Let’s discuss the arrangements for parking your magic carpet while you enjoy your time at the resort!
Upon arrival at the resort, you can inform the Cast Members attending the parking area that you have a dining reservation at the resort. They might ask to see proof of your dining reservation, so be prepared to show your My Disney Experience app or an email confirmation. This is just in case you’re asked. Some Cast Members will ask, and some will not. My guess is that it depends on how busy that resort is at that particular time. There is no fee for parking if you are dining, shopping, or enjoying recreation at the resort.
Once you park, Sarah, you are welcome to enjoy the resort hotel. After your dining experience is complete, you can stay to enjoy shopping at the resort, tour the grounds of the resort, or enjoy some dessert! I highly recommend the Dole Whip at
Pineapple Lanai! My favorite is the pineapple/vanilla swirl! Your 2.5 to 3 hours of parking won’t be a problem as long as you are enjoying the resort!
Happy Planning!
Jonathan
