How long can you park at the Disney Boardwalk and is there handicap parking. Three will be three of us visiting and two are handicapped and will be on scooters.

    Hi Sandy,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!

Even though I have to fly to Orlando to visit Walt Disney World Resort, I typically rent a car if only just to make getting to-and-from the airport easier for my family. Because of this, we often eat in Disney Dining Locations that are located in Disney Resorts Collection hotels, because using other types of Disney Transportation can be relatively time-consuming.

I’m happy to say that, if you’re dining at Disney’s BoardWalk, you should be allowed to park at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn for at least 3 hours. Sometimes, if it’s not a particularly busy day at that Resort hotel, they’ll allow you to stay for a bit longer – I would ask the Cast Member who will greet you at the gate what your options are for the day. And, yes, availability permitting, there is disabled parking available close to the Resort’s main entrance. If memory serves, however, it may still be a bit of a walk, so you might want to splurge for Valet Parking for the day. Plus, if you chose to use Valet service, you’ll be allowed to stay for as long as you want!

I hope that my answer helps you plan smooth travels throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
