How long will it take to get from Orlando International Airport to Animal Kingdom Jambo House on a Monday if the flight lands around 8:30am, I was thinking of making reservations for breakfast at 10:55

    Jambo Kenneth!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with such a great question!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas -Jambo House is one of my favorite Resort hotels. As you enter the main lobby, your eyes are drawn up to the beautiful window that overlooks the savannah. The lobby is gorgeous and filled with ornate details. One of my favorite places to relax is inside the main lobby next to the indoor fire pit. If you are looking for a delicious place to dine for breakfast, be sure to check out Boma – Flavors of Africa. This meal is buffet style and features American favorites as well as delicious African inspired dishes. I would also like to recommend taking the free resort shuttle or even better a leisurely stroll to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village to experience dinner at Sanaa. If you enjoy an adult beverage, the Painted Lemur is my favorite. I highly recommend the Indian-style Bread Service and the Potjie Inspired entrée with the Butter Chicken.

Disney’s Magical Express is a great benefit to staying at the Walt Disney World Resort. Make sure to put your yellow luggage tags on your bags before checking in at your home airport. You won’t even have to grab your bags off of the luggage carousel before you depart to your Resort hotel. I wouldn’t recommend making a breakfast reservation at 10:55 on the day of your arrival. It typically takes about 45 minutes to get from the Orlando International Airport to the Walt Disney World Resort. You may also have additional Resort hotel drop-offs before you get to your destination. Once you arrive at your Resort hotel, you will want to check-in (if you haven’t already taken advantage of online resort check-in) and get settled once your room becomes available. Therefore, I suggest considering a lunch reservation for the day of your arrival.

I hope that you and your family have a magical time!
