Welcome aboard, Cheryl -
Disembarkation day on a Disney Cruise ship is a day that my family runs in slow motion... likely because we just don't want the vacation to end and we don't like leaving the ship. Though it's the last day, we still try to make the most out of it. If you are arriving back at Port Canaveral, the ship is usually cleared by around 7:30am. Similar to the dinner seating schedule, there will also be a 1st seating and late seating for breakfast on disembarkation day. If you have the time, I highly suggest that you enjoy your leisurely breakfast (your last meal on the ship) before you leave. But just in case you are trying to catch a flight, then you can always opt to eat at the breakfast buffet,
Cabanas, to save you some time. Room service is not available on disembarkation morning.
If you are trying to get out early that morning, then you can bring your luggage off the ship with you (no porters). This will save you the baggage claim time. You can go straight to US Customs and get to the exit within a matter of minutes if you are one of the first ones out.
If you have more time and don't have to catch your flight until after 12:30pm that same day -- then you can choose to have your luggage picked up the evening before, so that you can just pick it up at the baggage claim area at the port. You can then enjoy your sit down breakfast. On your last evening, you dining team will remind you what time your assigned breakfast seating will be. There may be lines at the exit gangway, baggage claim and also US Customs. Guests will leave in waves. We've had disembarkation mornings go fast (15-20 minutes) and we've also been stuck in the queue where it took us about 45 minutes.
I hope this helps, Cheryl. Let us know if you have more questions. We're always happy to help.
