Hi Dominic! Welcome to planDisney. I'm happy to help you out today by answering your questions.
If you purchase a
Disney Resort Hotel package (which consists of theme park tickets and hotel stay), you can usually cancel or change your package if the cancelations or changes are completed 30 days or more before your arrival date. If you decide to cancel between 2 and 29 days before your arrival date, a cancelation fee will usually be assessed. In your case, you're asking about changes, which if made within this same timeframe, change fees may apply. And finally, if cancelations are made 1 day or less before your arrival date, you will be charged the full vacation price. Please make sure you refer to the
Website Package Terms and Conditions page for full details as policies are subject to change.
Adding dates would be subject to availability and since pricing is date-dependent, the cost would depend on the dates of your extension. You can get a sense of the pricing on the
Walt Disney World Resort website by changing the dates of a possible trip, changing the number of nights on a hotel package, and adding
theme park days to see what the possible price differential might be. Once booked, you can usually modify your package through your
My Disney Experience account under "My Plans." You can also
call a friendly Cast Member and they would be happy to help.
Dominic, no matter how many days you decide to spend at the resort, there will be plenty of Disney thrills to keep you entertained. Do you love the thrill of a rollercoaster? Then don't miss
TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise at
Magic Kingdom Park and
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Do you love the thrill of everyone being able to experience the magic of an attraction together? Then rides like
Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid in Magic Kingdom Park and
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway at
Disney's Hollywood Studios are going to scratch that itch! How about the thrill of meeting your favorite characters? Well, you can now
meet Moana at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and
Ariel from the all-new live-action story for a limited time at Disney's Hollywood Studios. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many thrills at the resort, you'll be talking about your vacation for years to come!
If you have any other questions,
please reach out again and I'll do my absolute best to help!
Life is the bubbles,
