    How long will it take to get from the MK parking lot to inside the park (main street)? I know we have to ride the tram and then the monorail (or boat). We are having BKFT at the contemporary. How long does it take to park and get to the restaurant?

    Hi Marilyn!

    This is a great question.  Assuming you are not visiting during an extremely busy time of year, such as New Year's Eve, you should be able to get to the Magic Kingdom within about 20 minutes after parking at the Magic Kingdom's parking lot.  Then you could make the 10 minute walk to the Contemporary Resort.

    However, you could also park at the Magic Kingdom, and then take the resort monorail (instead of the Express Monorail) from the Transportation and Ticket Center, where the parking tram delivers you to.  If you go this route, then  I would budget 30 to 35 minutes to make the trip via the parking tram and monorail; that's because the resort monorail stops at all of the resorts on the monorail line.  Y

    Finally, since you are eating at the Contemporary, you could also just park at the Contemporary and then move your car after breakfast to the Magic Kingdom parking lot.
