    How long has Matterhorn been in Disneyland?

    Hello Corie!

    Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week.

    The Matterhorn Bobsleds have been an iconic staple at Disneyland Park since just a couple years after the opening of the park. The attraction opened June 14, 1959 in-between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. There are 2 tracks known as the Fantasyland Track and Tomorrowland Track because of which side of the mountain they are on. A great tip to beating the crowds for this attraction is to go when the park first opens, or, alternatively, at night during the Fireworks at Disneyland Park.
