    How long do MagicBands work? If I buy one now, will it still work 3,4, 5 years from now?

    Hi, Debra!

    As the MagicBands are relatively new technology, their actual lifespan is still just a good guess by anyone. I have my original MagicBand, which is probably 2+ years old is still going strong. While I have never been adventurous enough to crack open a MagicBand, I have read that there is a watch battery inside so those will have a limited lifespan, but just how long is not known.

    I am confident that you can get 2-3 years use out of a MagicBand, after that we will just have to see. I am hoping that you and your MagicBand get to experience many magical vacations for years to come!
