Ahoy, Ann! Thanks for sailing over to planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line question. I’m always happy to help a fellow Virginian prepare to set sail where magic meets the sea.
There are several different
options available for lunch each day aboard the
Disney Destiny, but the exact hours of operation are going to vary by venue and can also be impacted by your sailing itinerary for the day. The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App will provide you with dining information, including the operating hours for each location and a sneak peek at the restaurant menus. If your itinerary includes stops at
Disney Castaway Cay or
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, then your dining options on the islands will also be listed in the Navigator App.
You definitely never need to worry about going hungry when you’re sailing with Captain Mickey! During lunchtime, one of the three main
rotational dining venues will typically be open for a sit-down lunch option if you want to take your time and enjoy a full meal. However, if you are looking for a more casual option, then the counters at Marceline Market offer a variety of classic favorites and rotating international specialities to fill up your plate in the afternoon. Additionally, Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods offers quick-service options near the pools on Deck 11 from Mickey’s Smokestack BBQ, Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill, and Minnie’s Delights. With so many different options to choose from, I’m sure that you will find something that will fit into your plans for the day. But don’t forget that room service is also included with your sailing and is available 24 hours a day.
Although I haven’t personally had the chance to experience the Disney Destiny just yet, it looks incredible and I know you will have a fantastic time onboard. If you have any other questions before you set sail, then feel free to reach back out to me and my friends at planDisney. Happy sailing!
