How long can you leave your RV at fort wilderness overflow? Is there a limit?

    Hi Tonya!

The Fort Wilderness Resort is a great place to bring your RV and enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation. We drive our motor coach down each fall and stay for several weeks to get our Disney pixie dust fix.

This resort does have a large parking lot that is used for guests who arrive before their site is ready on check-in day or their last day when they need to vacate their site by check-out time but want to use the resort facilities for the day or head to one more park before departing. It is a great convenience also for some guests who need to bring trailers to be able to park them in the lot and not on their site.

Registered guests may leave trailers and other things in this lot for the duration of their reservation. There are situations such as guests leaving on a Disney cruise where they will be granted permission to leave their RV there during that side trip. But the lot is not a storage area so if you have a special request to use it when not a registered guest you would need to get clearance and permission from the resort management. All vehicles or trailers in the lot must show a parking permit dated with exact dates of use of the lot.

Hope this answers your question and hope you are able to use it for your stay.
