How long does it take to get through the internal bus route at Port Orleans Riverside, assuming you get on at the first stop? I can't find information regarding only the internal loop time.

    Royal greetings, Marisa!

A warm welcome to planDisney. We're honored you've brought us your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! Marisa, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is one of my family's favorite Disney Resort hotels due to its great location, immersive theming, gorgeous grounds, and convenient transportation options. In fact, it was the first Disney Resort hotel I ever stayed at as a child, back in the early '90s! I'm excited to hear you're planning a visit to this beautiful Resort hotel and I'm happy to share my recent experiences with you.

Whether you'll be checking into one of Princess Tiana's Royal Guest Rooms or goin' down the bayou for a cozy stay in a quaint cottage, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is sure to offer you unique accommodations rich in Disney storytelling. Due to the size of this magnificent Moderate Resort hotel, an internal bus loop provides Guests with convenient access to all areas of the expansive property. The internal bus route runs clockwise through the resort, making stops at the South Depot (where the main lobby and Riverside Mill Food Court are located), West Depot, North Depot, and East Depot throughout the day. Marisa, during a recent stay in the Alligator Bayou section, I hopped on the bus at the West Depot and took it around to the South Depot to access watercraft transportation to Disney Springs. The ride took about 10 minutes from start to finish. It's important to note that bus times and schedules may vary based on Guest demand, time of day, and other factors.

Marisa, did you know there's a walking/jogging trail that runs between Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter? It's one of my favorite paths in all of the Walt Disney World Resort! A short, scenic stroll along the Sassagoula River leads Guests to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter - and beignets! During your stay, I encourage you to make the trek to Scat Cat's Club - Café to enjoy some warm beignets with chocolate chicory sauce. You won't regret it!

I hope this information helps you prepare for your bayou adventure, Marisa! I'm excited for you to discover the magic of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside that's kept my family returning for nearly 30 years. If you have any additional planning questions, feel free to revisit us at planDisney anytime. We're here to help you discover the wonder and enchantment of The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
