    How long does it take to get from the Grand Floridian Resort to Magic Kingdom? to Hollywood Studios? And to Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary?

    Hello Summer! Thanks for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am always (extra) happy to answer a question from a fellow Pennsylvanian! I am even more happy to answer questions about my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel! Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is my Disney home away from home!

    Travel from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to Magic Kingdom Park is so easy! In fact, it's one of the reasons we choose to stay at that resort! There is a Monorail station at this resort. Board the Monorail and Magic Kingdom Park will be your first stop! Allow about 10 minutes for this ride. Transportation to Chef Mickey's is just as easy! Board the Monorail at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and ride it over to Disney's Contemporary Resort which is the location of Chef Mickey's! Disney's Contemporary Resort will be your second stop on the Monorail! Allow about 15 minutes for this ride. Finally, to travel from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can take complimentary Disney bus transportation. I always allow 30 to 45 minutes of travel time for this trip.

    Summer, you can probably find a faster mode of transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios. You might consider Disney Minnie Van Service! This travel service is operated by Lyft. There is a charge for this service, but it might be faster than relying on complimentary Disney bus transportation.
