How long will it take to go to Downtown Disney Marketplace, see the shops, have a counter service lunch and go back to the Beach Club? We have a car.

Hi, Taura!  I think the amount of time you spend here can vary greatly.  I can easily spend more than an hour in the World of Disney store alone!  It is going to depend on which shops you want to see, how much time you plan on spending at each one, and if you plan to include the Downtown Disney West Side section.

Let's start with the things that are the easiest to sort out.  I'd plan on a half hour drive to and from the Downtown Disney area, and give yourself ten extra minutes to locate parking.  If you are going on a busy day, it can be tough to find a spot in some of the lots.

Lunch at someplace like the Earl of Sandwich can take a minimum of a half hour from the time you get in line until you are finished your delicious sandwich, but again, on a busy day, it may be an hour.

Some of the shops, like the World of Disney, are large and contain a ton of wonderful things to browse through.  You'll have to determine how much time you want to allow yourself for shopping.  I would say you could walk through each shop over the course of about two hours, but to really see everything, you'll take much longer - maybe even doubling that time.

If you are on a time crunch, choose the shops which you most want to see, allow yourself a portion of your time at each one, and just plan to leave when you have to leave.  The most time consuming shops for me, besides the World of Disney, are the Christmas shop, TrenD, and even Basin.

    Have a great trip!
