    How long does it take to go from the Contemporary resort to other parks, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios

    Hello, Judy,

    Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It sounds like you have a Walt Disney World trip planned and are staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  I'm always astounded at how amazing it is to have the monorail go right through the resort; it seems so magical! 

    To visit the theme parks from this resort, the average transportation times are as follows: 

    Magic Kingdom:  It takes approximately 10 minutes by monorail or by walking. 
    Epcot: After taking a short 2 minute monorail ride to the Ticket & Transportation Center to transfer monorails, the ride is about 10 minutes. 
    Disney's Hollywood Studios:  It is about 30 minutes by bus.
    Disney's Animal Kingdom: It is about 25 minutes by bus. 

    When planning transportation travel time, please keep in mind wait times for transportation.  Buses run about every 20 minutes. To help you plan, there are display screens at the bus stops that share estimated wait times for buses.  You can also use the My Disney Experience app to see estimated bus times.
