    How long will it take to get from Fort Wilderness to a dinner reservation at Grand Floridian Cafe?

    Hi there Anna,

    Sounds like you guys have a fun adventure planned on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.  Traveling from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is super easy, but travel time will depend on your method of transportation.  If you are driving your own vehicle or a taxi, it should only take about 10 minutes from the Outpost area of Fort Wilderness to the Grand Floridian.  You'll also want to add about 10 minutes for walking from the self-parking area of the Grand Floridian to the lobby and your dining destination.  So, all in all, driving should take about 20 minutes, so take 30 to be safe!

    If traveling by bus, the best way will be to catch a water taxi from the Fort Wilderness Marina over to the Magic Kingdom.  Once at the Magic Kingdom, you can either take the monorail or a boat launch over to the Grand Floridian.  This method is a bit longer, but very adventurous and relaxing as well, especially if you take the boats the entire way. I would allow 45 minutes to travel this way!
