How long will Epcot Food & Wine Festival continue this year?

    Hiya Diane!

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy to hEAR you have a holiday vacation at Walt Disney World on the calendar. Foodie fun is just one of the many reasons why I love traveling to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Naturally, one of the first events that comes to mind then is the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. There, you can experience 20 Marketplaces highlighting food and beverages worldwide. To this, Aladdin would say, “I can show you the world”...foodie style!

As you have noticed, Walt Disney World has not yet announced an end date for this fabulous festival. However, with the news that the Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT will debut on November 27, we can make some educated guesses on when the Food and Wine Festival will end. Disney usually allows several days to transition from one festival to the next.

Using past years as a guide, I would assume that Guests will be tasting plenty of great eats and drinks at this top-notch festival until at least mid-November. Since your travel date is November 16th, I hope for your sake that you get to experience all the delectable dining options offered up. Keep checking the Disney Parks Blog for updated announcements just to be sure.

I’m going to be at Walt Disney World that same time, so I’m just as eager as you are to get my hands on some delicious food! My list keeps growing by the day; my top choices are the Kahlua Pork Slider, the Traditional Poutine, and a Liquid Nitro Chocolate Cake Pop from the Desserts and Champagne Marketplace located in the World ShowPlace Pavilion.

You won’t need a magic carpet to sample foods from every corner of the globe, spanning 6 continents. But what you will need is a Disney Park Pass reservation to visit EPCOT that day to experience the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. To do this, log into your My Disney Experience account, and you’ll choose the theme park you’d like to visit, followed by a calendar of available reservation dates to choose from.

Just like Aladdin, rub the lamp and send more planning questions to planDisney. Happy to be your planning Genie!
