How long does it take to download your photos from memory card to CD in the parks and about how much does it cost?

    Hi Kristin,

Downloading your pictures to a CD s is a really great idea, not only will if free up your digital media it gives you a backup of all the wonderful photos you take while on vacation at Walt Disney World.

All of the four theme parks offer this service, click here to find the specific locations.

In January of 2009 the rate for a CD (which holds about 120 pictures) was around $12, if you need a little extra space the you can use a DVD for about $17.

The downloading is done immediately, so the only wait is the amount of time it takes for the pictures to transfer over.

One other tip I love to share is to write your contact information on a piece of paper and have it be the first picture you take on each media card.  If you were to lose your camera or media card, you might have a better chance of having it returned to you.
