Welcome to planDisney, Paul.
I trust your first day at The Most Magical Place on Earth was "practically perfect in every way."I hope you were able to get tons of pictures. In the words of the legendary Sherman Brothers, "Making memories, making memories, taking pictures is making memories/Catching little pieces of time/Making them yours (and making them mine)."
I really love the benefit of having unlimited
Disney PhotoPass digital downloads when you purchase
Disney Genie+. My family got some supercalifragilisticexpialidocious photos this summer. I still smile when I look back on my pictures from
Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park. A number of people, like me, have their hands up in the air with pure joy on their faces. Others are holding on for dear life with pure terror in their eyes. It's definitely a core memory!
You can access your PhotoPass pictures by opening up the Disneyland Mobile App and tapping on "Photos."
The photos in your account will expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken. You can pay for a 15-day extension if needed. I'm afraid that Disneyland Resort no longer offers a PhotoPass DVD. However, you'll be able to download an unlimited amount of digital pictures using Disney's PhotoPass service. So you won't actually need a DVD.
I hope that's helpful, Paul. If you're looking for a great spot for a photo, there is often a Disney PhotoPass photographer to the front right of Sleeping Beauty Castle (just before Snow White's wishing well).
Enjoy the rest of your trip! TTFN, ta-ta for now!
Mike
