How long are Disney tickets valid after canceling?

Hi Amanda! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so sorry to hear that you've had to change your plans and put a little pause on your way to the Happiest Place on Earth. I have also had to delay some visits in the last year, and while I know it can feel a bit sad in the moment, know that the magic is always waiting for you when the time is right!

Let's walk through finding your expiration date together! Expirations are based on the type of ticket (single-day or multi-day) and when the ticket was originally purchased. Currently, single-day tickets are valid through December 30, 2023, and multi-day through January 12, 2024, but if you're holding an older ticket this may be different for you.

You should be able to find the expiration within the email confirmation you received at the time of purchase. I just took a look at an email I received recently and it is located just under the section outlining any applicable block out dates. Likewise, if you are logged into the Disneyland Resort website and navigate to "My Disneyland", click into your profile and select "Memberships and Passes". The expiration should be listed there along with your ticket information. If you are using the Disneyland Mobile App, go to "Tickets and Passes" and the date should be there right under the barcode. If your ticket happens to have expired, do not worry! The value of wholly, unused and expired tickets can be put towards the purchase of a brand new ticket.

Now let's take a spin through the Haunted Mansion and look into Madame Leota's crystal ball to see when might be a good time to reschedule your trip! I can see that you would be traveling in from Washington. I know that I am personally dreaming about that springtime California sunshine from chilly Philly. While spring does have beautiful weather, it is not the only reason to visit the Disneyland Resort at this time of year! Both World of Color at Disney California Adventure Park and Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park will be making their magical return to the parks. A Disney day is not complete without a nighttime spectacular - the storytelling, the sparkling lights, the swirl of your favorite Disney music! It's something you will never forget! I recommend following along with the Disney Parks Blog to find out when they will officially debut or checking out the entertainment calendar for the dates you are considering!

If you're interested in coming a bit sooner than spring, Disney California Adventure Park will be hosting its annual Food & Wine Festival! A pure celebration of all the good eats, sips and live music California has to offer!

Amanda, just know that any time you visit will be filled with magic and unexpected pixie dust! If you have any other questions as your plan your trip, we are always here for you at planDisney!

    Magic awaits!
    Tara
