Hi Jeff,
Welcome to planDisney!
Congratulations on booking a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! I am so glad to hear that you have created a
My Disney Experience account. You should have received an email confirmation with your vacation package. Use that confirmation number to
link the
vacation package to your account. When you link reservations and purchases to your account, log into My Disney Experience, scroll down and click on the plus sign (right-hand side of the screen). And then click on Link Reservations and Purchases.
Once you have your vacation package linked, make
Disney Park Pass system reservations for everyone in your party. If you make park pass reservations and then need to change them, you will need to cancel the existing park pass reservation and then make the new one. Before cancelling an existing park pass reservation, always check the
theme park reservation availability calendar to make sure the new park you want to visit is available.
Once you get 60-days prior to your trip I highly recommend making
advanced dining reservations. Take some time to review the dining options. On each restaurant's home page, you can click on View Menu to take a look at the menu for each meal period. The menu should also give you a sense of prices. When you get to the parks and resorts, you can also use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. Although we did use Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering on our last visit, we prefer advanced dining reservations. And,
Mobile Dine Check-in makes it easy to check-in for those advanced dining reservations!
Jeff, I trust you will get that vacation package linked. Once you make park pass reservations, they should appear in My Plans in My Disney Experience and, when you make your dining reservations, those should appear also. In the meantime, check out some of our
tips to make your next Disney Day
Incredible!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
