Hey there and welcome to planDisney, Justin. Thanks for stopping by to share this question with us.
It sounds like you might be ready to plan your visit to the Disneyland Resort. The first thing you'll need is a
theme park ticket and a
theme park reservation. Since you already have the ticket, let's make sure it's ready to be used. You can easily find the expiration date of your ticket by linking it to your MyDisney account in the
Disneyland app. After opening the app, tap on the "☰" in the lower right to open the menu and then tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" in the top right and then "Link Tickets & Passes." On the next screen, you can quickly link your ticket by using the "Camera" feature to scan the barcode on your ticket. Once added, navigate back to the ticket and passes screen and you'll find your ticket. The expiration date should be listed under the barcode. If you don't find it here, I recommend reaching out to a friendly Cast Member at the
phone line for Tickets for assistance.
Once you have your expiration date, it's time to get planning. If you're not able to visit before your tickets expire, hakuna matata. It means no worries, and there's no need to fret about your tickets.
The amount paid for a wholly unused and expired ticket (excluding special event tickets) can be applied toward the purchase of a new theme park ticket at the current price as long as the price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket (subject to change).
Justin, I hope that you're able to find some time this year to make a visit. There are
so many magical things in store. If not, I hope the information I shared is helpful and gives you some peace of mind. The magic will always be waiting and ready whenever you are. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. Adventure is out there!
