Hi Melissa,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It looks like your vacation is coming up soon, has the countdown started yet?
Most tickets
expire 14 days after their first use. Since there are different types of Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park tickets, my best suggestion would be to link your ticket to the
My Disney Experience mobile app to confirm the expiration for your ticket.
First, you’ll want to locate your ticket or confirmation ID for the ticket which typically can be found in your email. If your ticket is a physical one, the ID will be on the back of the ticket. Once you locate the ID, let’s start the linking process. To link, simply sign into the My Disney Experience mobile app and select the three lines in the lower right hand corner. Next, select the “Tickets and Passes” box. On the next page, select “Link Tickets & Passes” and under the “Ticket or Pass” banner, add your ticket or confirmation ID. Once the ticket is added, you can go back to the “Tickets and Passes” area and you should see your ticket.
Under your ticket (which is in a colorful square), there should be a line with an expiration date! If for some reason you aren’t able to link the ticket or you don’t see an expiration date, you can always connect with the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands desk for further help!
Finally, if you haven't already, remember to book your
Disney Park Pass reservations for your vacation. At this time both valid admission and a Disney Park Pass reservation are needed for each guest, for every day they'd like to enter the Theme Parks.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you prepare for your upcoming vacation. If you have any last minute planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
