    How long does it take to get from the Contemporary to the Polynesian if taking the monorail? And where is 'Ohana restaurant located in the Polynesian? I'm trying to figure out if we will have enough time to make reservations. Thanks!!

    Hello, Jessica!

    Thanks for asking us another question! The quickest way to travel from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is by Resort Monorail. There is only one stop between the two Disney Resort hotels so within no time you will be at your destination. Although the actual travel time is about five minutes, I always plan at least 30 minutes just in case there is a delay. If I arrive early, then I can enjoy some shopping on the first floor or spend time enjoying that gorgeous lobby.

    Just this past weekend I was traveling by monorail to breakfast at the Polynesian. The monorail ahead of us had some technical issues, and our train was unable to pull into the Polynesian station for about 10 minutes. Fortunately, I had planned extra travel time, and both 'Ohana and Kona Cafe are conveniently located on the second floor, just steps away from the monorail platform. I was able to make my breakfast reservation without worry!
