    How long will Cinderellas castle stay pink?

    Hi Kaisha! Welcome to planDisney! I love your question! The new rose gold color that adorns Cinderella Castle was done in honor of the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Walt Disney World Resort! The new color scheme is just the most recent in a long history of celebratory displays on the centerpiece of Magic Kingdom Park! I remember the cake theme that “decorated” the castle for the 25th anniversary!

    The World’s Most Magical Celebration kicked off on October 1, 2021 and is scheduled to last 18-months! While the rose gold color was done in honor of the 50th anniversary, it is quite possible that the color will last longer than the 18-month celebration. I think Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, and Tinker Bell are the only ones who really know for sure how long the color will last, but time will tell!
