    How long do the Christmas decorations stay up - I am trying to plan our trip

    Hello, Debra!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question as you plan for your MAGICAL Walt Disney World vacation!

    I would say the absolute "most wonderful time of the year" to visit Walt Disney World is during the Christmas holiday season! I really can't put into words how MAGICAL the entire Walt Disney World property looks during this JOYFUL time!

    Historically, the Christmas decorations at Walt Disney World begin to come down the first few days of the New Year. However, this does not happen all at once. I have seen some decorations stay up through the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend. Based on what has happened in the past, I think it is pretty safe to say that you will be able to see some Christmas decorations through the first week of January. (Again...this time frame is not guaranteed and can change at any time.)
