How long are Christmas decorations displayed?

    Hello, Kristin!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question regarding your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

The most MAGICAL time of the year at Walt Disney World is the Christmas holiday season! The sights, sounds, and decorations will truly get you into the Christmas spirit! My family has visited Walt Disney World several times in mid-November to avoid the crowds AND to just enjoy the decorations. There really are no words to experience the spectacular display for lights, tinsel, and trees in very nook and cranny of the Walt Disney World property!

In 2017, Christmas decorations went up early November and were kept up through the first week in January. Now, I will tell you that Magic Kingdom kept up their Christmas decorations through the second week in January. This schedule could be completely different for 2018, but this information will give you an idea of what you could expect as you plan for your vacation.

If you have other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
