How long will the Christmas decorations be up at Disneyland in January 2026

    Welcome to planDisney, Betzy!

Thanks for stopping by with a question about your upcoming trip to Disneyland Resort. If you’re dreaming of one last dose of holiday magic, I’ve got great news!

You’ll be able to enjoy the last of the holidays at Disneyland Resort as the Christmas season wraps up on January 6, 2026 -  the last day you can enjoy the festive décor throughout the parks. From the towering Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A., to Sleeping Beauty Castle decked out with icicles and shimmering lights, the holiday spirit usually sticks around right through that date.

I love seeing the parks dressed in their holiday best. Cars Land is a favorite (Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl put a huge smile on my face), and I can’t rave enough about “it’s a small world” Holiday! Seeing my kids experience the beloved attraction with a holiday twist is something I’ll never forget.

Since you’re visiting in early January, you’ll still be able to soak in all that merry magic - just be sure to plan your park days on or before January 6 to catch it all.

I hope this information helps you plan your upcoming trip. If you have any other questions, we're here to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Candace
