How long does check in and boarding take? Terminal opens at 11am, boarding starts at 1pm. Have to be on board by 4pm, what time should we arrive at the terminal to check in at??? thanks.

    Ahoy, Marnie!

The Port Check-In experience can be different for very many people. I don't think there's a fool proof way to get away from the crowds. It's a always a different experience for me and my family every single time. But, nonetheless, it's a pretty simple and straight forward task that you have to get through before you step onboard.

The cruise terminal at Canada Place in Vancouver was moderately occupied when we checked in for our Alaskan voyage. For all our Disney voyages across the world, the check-in process has generally ranged between 15 minutes to 45 minutes at the longest. Before you get to the port, make sure you've completed your online check in process. It will definitely speed up everything. You'll also need to have all your travel documents ready, since Customs will be there to check everything. I always like to board early - it just gives the kids a bit more time to play and explore around the ship. The sooner you get onboard to start your vacation the better, right?

I hope that helps, Marnie! Wishing you an awesome voyage with Captain Mickey.

    Bon voyage,
