MagicBand+ is just the gadget to complete your theme park must-haves. Not only is it super helpful with tapping into the magic (theme park entry,
Lightning Lane access, and more), but it's also a fun way to show off your favorite color or Disney character and interact with elements around Disney World.
Yes, the MagicBand+, unlike the previous MagicBand, does need to be charged. But you'll be happy to know that it doesn't take that long for a MagicBand+ to charge. It takes only a couple of hours from start to finish. I like to plug it in at the end of the night, so that it's ready to wear in the morning. However, if you only have an hour or two to spare, it should have enough battery life to make it through your day's adventure.
AN EXTRA GEM: I learned from a fellow planDisney panelist a few years ago that a MagicBand+ is still usable when it's completely dead. So, if you don't have time to plug it in before a long day at the parks, you're good to go. The cool haptic features won't work, but it will have its necessary scanning capabilities.
