    How long is the charge lasting on the new MagicBand+? Will it need charged each night?

    Hello Jennifer!

    I am excited about the new MagicBand+, launched on July 27th, 2022! I ordered two MagicBand+ from shopDisney, and I can't wait to use them at Walt Disney World in November!

    The new MagicBand+ is rechargeable with a USB charging cord that is included with the MagicBand+, so you will be able to recharge it when the battery gets low. You must pair your MagicBand+ to your mobile phone and link it to your My Disney Experience App. The battery on the MagicBand+ is designed to last 1 to 3 days on a full charge depending on park usage, but it is recommended to charge it overnight before your planned park days. You can check the battery status of your MagicBand+ through the My Disney Experience App or by the colors displayed on the MagicBand+ (you press the button on the back of the band, and it will light up a color to give you the current battery status). The new MagicBand+ should be able to be used for many years as long as it is recharged before use.
