How long do Characters usually stay and sign autographs and take pictures? and how do they determine who is the last person in line, do they just all of a sudden say "ok sorry folks we will be back soon" or do they wait until the last person come

    Hi Rachel,

You will find the schedule first of all for the "Character Greetings" on the Times Guide that you can pick-up at the Theme Park you will be going to or you can also pick one up at any WDW Resort by the Front Desk area/Guest Services locations as well as Downtown Disney.  On this Times Guide it will list the times and locations for these Meet-n-Greets.  Sometimes it lists a specific time where they will maybe only be there for an hour while other times are listed as a continuous timeline (i.e. 3:45......continuous.......6:00).  These times do change from week to week and the characters do as well.  You may not always get a guarantee to see a specific character, but rather various characters from certain animated movies (for example: Toy Story Friends (Al's Toy Barn located in Disney's Hollywood Studios where you may see a variety of characters from Toy Story, but not necessarily "Woody", etc...).  If you are curious and would like to know where a certain character may be and at what time, then you can go to the Guest Relations at the Park and they will be able to find that specific character and their location where you can meet them at (if they are scheduled to appear in the park that day!).

When you are standing in line for the Meet-n-Greet, a cast member will not all of a sudden say "sorry folks, no more for today!" after you have been standing in line all that time.  They will however sometimes need a little break and will be back in approximately 5 minutes and you will just stay in line until they return.  A cast member will "cut off" the line at a certain time when that character is scheduled to finish the Meet-n-Greets, but if you are in line they will not ask you to leave, you are guaranteed your visit!  I hope that helps and if you see Mickey......say Hello from one of his biggest fans.....ME!

    Have a magical day!
