Jaclyn from VA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

How long do I have to change the date of a park ticket? If the ticket starts on 2/18, can I change the date up to 11:59pm ET on 2/17?

Welcome to planDisney, Jaclyn! I'm so glad that you've decided to stop by with your question.

You're absolutely correct, my friend. You're able to modify most Walt Disney World Resort admission tickets through the My Disney Experience website or mobile app up to midnight EST on the day of your ticket's original start date. However, I can see that that's no longer the case for you, since your original start date has already passed. But Hakuna Matata, Jaclyn! No worries. There is something else that you could try.

As per the New Ticket Expiration Deadlines & Usage Terms, the amount paid for an unused, expired ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket at the current price so long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. This means that, if you didn't already use your Theme Park ticket, you'll be able to apply its full value towards the purchase of a new one. I've actually taken advantage of this perk in the past in order to upgrade my Theme Park tickets to an Annual Pass!

I hope that my answer has been helpful, Jaclyn. Feel free to come back and ask us any other questions you might have about planning a magical Disney vacation!

    See you real soon,
