How long do I have to cancel Vacaton after down payment was made

Hello Donald! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When planning a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation, it is reassuring to know the terms of the cancellation policy in the unexpected event that the Endless Magic must be put on hold.

The Walt Disney World Resort cancellation policies vary depending on whether you are canceling a Room-Only Hotel Reservation or a Magic Your Way Vacation Package.

In order to cancel a Room-Only Hotel Reservation, cancellation must be received at least 5 days prior to your arrival date to receive a refund.

Canceling a Vacation Package depends on how far in advance the cancellation is requested. A cancellation made 30 days or more prior to arrival is refundable. This may not include non-refundable air transportation or other optional additions. A cancellation made 2-29 days prior to arrival is refundable as above, minus a $200 cancellation fee. A cancellation made 1 day or less prior to arrival or no-shows is non-refundable.

You may be able to "Modify" or "Cancel" your Reservations directly through your My Disney Experience Account(depending on circumstances). If for whatever reason you cannot cancel online, or prefer to speak to a Cast member when canceling, you may call (407)939-7429.

Canceling specific Events and Tours, such as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or Advanced Dining Reservations at restaurants must be cancelled individually.

    Have a Magical Day!
