how long is bus ride from Port Orleans Riverside Resort to MK and to HS?

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner, and you've chosen a fabulous resort for your stay.

From Port Orleans Riverside, you will be just a 10- to 15-minute ride away from either Magic Kingdom or Disney's Hollywood Studios once your bus leaves the resort.

Port Orleans Riverside has four bus stops around the resort's perimeter, so depending on where you board, you may spend 15 minutes or so inside the resort. Buses arrive about every 20 minutes.

If I'm trying to get to a park for something time-specific such as a dining reservation, a FastPass+ reservation or rope drop, I like to allow an hour of travel time so that I don't feel rushed or stressed. The buses drop you right at the entrance of the theme parks, so you should be inside quickly.

Speaking of transportation, did you know that you can take a water taxi from Port Orleans Riverside to Disney Springs for dining, shopping and other fun? It's a pleasant, scenic journey down the Sassagoula River past Port Orleans French Quarter, the Treehouse Villas and Saratoga Springs resorts.

I hope that helps you with your plans, Amanda. Please let us know if you have any other last-minute questions. Enjoy!
