    How long is the bus ride from Port Orleans French Quarter to Magic Kingdom? We are traveling with a 4 and 6 year old and want to stay at a reasonable hotel that is not too far from Magic Kingdom. Thanks!

    Hi Diane!

        Port Orleans French Quarter is my favorite Moderate Resort!  Port Orleans French Quarter is only about 10 minutes driving time from the Magic Kingdom, but it will take approximately 20 to 25 minutes or more on the Disney Bus.  This is due to the fact that the Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside share the same buses.  The buses will stop at the one Port Orleans French Quarter bus stop first and then continue on to the four bus stops at Port Orleans Riverside before continuing on to a Park.  All the Resorts that are the closest to the Magic Kingdom are Deluxe Resorts and more expensive per night than the Moderate Resorts.  Another option would be for you to rent a car for your entire Walt Disney World vacation.
