Hi there, Debora, and welcome to planDisney!
The beauty of Walt Disney World Resort is that there are many ways to get from Point A to Point B. Whether that’s from your Resort hotel to the theme parks or, like your question asks, from theme park to theme park, you’re good to go while on property.
The bus ride from
Magic Kingdom Park to
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is just about 15 minutes long. Be prepared to wait at the bus depot for up to 15 minutes for the park-to-park buses.
Keep in mind that the park-to-park bus routes typically don’t begin until late morning. So, if you need to get to Hollywood Studios earlier or don’t mind getting there later, here are other options:
-Pay for a rideshare vehicle like a
Disney Minnie Van (Lyft service)-Take a short walk from Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary Resort hotel, then take a Hollywood Studios bus or rideshare vehicle from there
-Take the Disney Monorail to
EPCOT, tap in, and walk towards the back of the theme park to the Disney Skyliner or boats in the BoardWalk area. You could also walk to Hollywood Studios from this point.
As a local who loves using her own vehicle, you would think that my favorite mode of Disney transportation would be via car. However, the tried-and-true buses have never let my family down. And if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, via the
My Disney Experience App’s Resort reservation section, you can see when the next bus will arrive at your hotel. This is super helpful when you want to avoid rushing down to the bus stop, only to hurry up and wait.
Debora, savor every moment of your Disney vacation! Please
give us a holler here at planDisney if you have any other questions about your upcoming adventures.
Magic always,
LeAndra
