Hi Sofia! Welcome back to planDisney.
I just returned home from a stay at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, and we had such a magical family vacation. From the super-fun pool (the Jaguar water slide is such a hit with kiddos!) to the gorgeous landscaping to the delicious food and beverages available, you will truly be transported and feel like you're staying in a vacation paradise. I'm so excited for you!
My family has stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort several times, and one of the things we always remark about is how centrally located it is. The trips on
Walt Disney World Bus Service to each of the four theme parks are not too long at all. This resort has 4 bus stops - one located in each section (Casitas, Ranchos, Cabanas) plus at Gran Destino Tower. Depending on where you are getting on, plus traffic, we found the bus ride to be about 10-15 minutes.
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios are very quick rides, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom is close enough that we could see Pandora and Expedition Everest from our room in the Gran Destino Tower.
Magic Kingdom Park may be closer to a 15-20 minute bus ride.
Sofia, did you know that you can check bus departure times in the
My Disney Experience mobile app? Tap "Resort Hotel" and then scroll horizontally to find the bus times. One thing to note is that you may need to adjust for your specific bus stop; we also found that buses came earlier than the bus times app noted during our stay.
Have so much fun planning your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Here at planDisney, it's our pleasure to help with your planning questions. I also recommend reading the
Disney Parks Blog as you count down the days - they share news updates, planning tips, and fun stories that will get you so excited for your Disney days. Please come back and see us if you think of any further questions as you plan and dream.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
