    How long is the bus ride from the Art of Animation Resort to Downtown Disney?

    Andrea, be prepared to adore Disney's shiny new Art of Animation Resort. With its whimsical theming, the fabulous Big Blue Pool and innovative Landscape of Flavors Food Court, walking into this resort is like stepping into an animated Disney movie.

    The bus ride to Downtown Disney from AoA is a 10-15 minute trip. Trips that include a stop at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon take an additional ten minutes or so. If you have dining reservations plan for wait time to catch the bus and an additional few minutes to walk to the restaurant. Dinner at 6:00? Be at the bus stop no later than 5:00. Typically guests should allow for an hour and a half of travel time when using Walt Disney World transportation, but since you do not need to switch buses and DD is more accessible than a theme park, one hour should do.
