    How long does the bus take from Port Orleans French Quarter to Animal Kingdom and what time do the buses start?

    Hello Callum! 

    You are going to have an amazing time at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter! The cobblestone streets and the sounds of jazz will take you down on the bayou! My wife and daughter recommend a stroll along the lushly landscaped Sassagoula River to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-Riverside to shop in one of their favorite resort gift shops, Fulton’s General Store! 

    One of the great perks of staying at a Disney Resort hotel is the use of complimentary Walt Disney World resort transportation! 

     Jump on an Animal Kingdom theme park bus at the French Quarter and once onboard the ride to Animal Kingdom is about 20-25 minutes.  Buses run about every 20-30 minutes and generally operate from 45 minutes before a theme park’s opening time until one hour after closing time. 

    After your day with the banshee and conquering Expedition Everest head to the resort buses at Animal Kingdom and you will conveniently be dropped back off at your Disney home at the French Quarter!  

    Don’t forget the beignets! Or the Mickey Bars!
