It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Audra! The complimentary transportation at Walt Disney World Resort is one of the reasons it's my favorite vacation destination. It could not be easier to get from point A to point B when you have your choice of the
bus,
boat,
monorail, or
Disney Skyliner!
I think that the ferry boat transportation is one of the more magical ways to get to where you need to go because there's nothing better than a breezy boat ride on a beautiful day. If you're traveling between
Epcot and
Disney's Hollywood Studios, you have the option to use the FriendShip boats and sail the picturesque waterway between the two Theme Parks. There will be a few stops along the way at
Disney's BoardWalk Inn,
Disney's Beach Club Resort,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, and the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. With guests likely getting on and off at each of those stops, the ride takes around 30 minutes.
If you decide not to take the boat, there are quite a few other options to get from Epcot to Disney's Hollywood Studios. They are the only two Theme Parks that have a pedestrian walking path between them, and it's right down by the water so it's a really lovely walk that takes around 20 minutes. You can take a direct bus, or you can use my new favorite mode of transportation: the Disney Skyliner! The station is located just outside of the International Gateway of Epcot, and with a quick transfer at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, the whole ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios will take about 15 minutes.
I hope this answers your question, Audra, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
