    How long is the boat ride from international gateway to the beach club? Trying to schedule family pics @ BC, kids love the boat rides, but I want to make sure we get to our picture session on time. Would it be better to walk to BC and boat back to EPCOT?

    Hi Shannon!  We love that area of Walt Disney World and have stayed at the Beach or Yacht Club resorts many times.  It is a very short five minute walk to the Beach Club lobby area so you might end up waiting much longer for the water taxi.  Also, it docks at the marina which is actually just out from the Yacht Club so you will have to walk back to the Beach Club.  It would not make sense to take the boat at all.  Give yourself ten minutes just to be sure.  Exit the International Gateway and walk along the water and proceed straight ahead.  You will see a bridge crossing the water and that leads to the Boardwalk Inn and Villas.  Stay straight and the resort is immediately after the bridge on your right in a blue color.  You will soon see the main walkway to the resort lobby.

    It is a beautiful area for a family photo session!
