Hi Nancy! Wow! You are such a great friend! Giving the “gift of Disney” to a friend who has been going through a rough patch is a great act of kindness!
While I understand that you want to try to experience as much as possible during your 6-8 hour window, trying to cram too much into one day might actually end up feeling way too stressful. I want to encourage you to perhaps focus on one park and really take it all in from start to finish!
Think about your friend’s interests! What does she love most about Disney? Is it the nostalgia of
Magic Kingdom Park, the thrill rides of
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the beauty and majesty of
Disney’s Animal Kingdom (with some great rides), or the culture of
EPCOT? Consider taking a quick “tour” of each park on the Walt Disney World Resort website and deciding which park to visit. If you want to let us know your friend’s interests, we can certainly help to identify the best park to visit! Feel free to send another question to us!
While I don’t know your friend, it sure sounds like a day at Magic Kingdom Park might bring a much-needed smile (and some laughter) to her face! If you do decide to visit Magic Kingdom Park, be sure to stay for the new nighttime show,
Disney Enchantment! It sounds like it is going to be a truly stunning show from Cinderella Castle all the way down Main Street, U.S.A.
Nancy, best wishes in bringing much joy to your friend with your special visit.
Hakuna Matata! Jonathan
