Hello again, Alfred! Welcome back to planDisney.
I'm so glad you are thinking about making
advanced dining reservations for your trip later this year. Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my very favorite things to talk about. There are so many great places to eat!
Currently, Guests can make advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to their check-in date. By my math, and you'll want to double-check me on this, it looks like you'll be able to make yours Saturday, September 4th. You'll be able to make dining reservations for the length of your stay up to 10 days. Advanced dining reservations can be made online starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time or by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 a.m. Some of the best restaurants do fill up quickly so I recommend setting an early alarm and being up and online right around 5:55 a.m.. That will give you the best chance at getting all of the reservations that your heart desires for your vacation.
May I make a suggestion? If you haven't already tried
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs, I recommend adding it to your must-do list. It's my family's current favorite restaurant. In fact, we like it so much I actually planned a whole weekend trip around a dinner reservation I was able to snag. The restaurant is set right on the lake at Disney Springs and boasts beautiful views of the sunset. Then, after the sun goes down it is fun to watch Disney Springs light up throughout the evening. The menu offers something for even the pickiest eater - I know because I have one. If you like seafood, I can't recommend the lobster roll enough. It's my go-to order right now. I like it served Connecticut style which is served warm with butter and then I always upgrade to the truffle fries. It is so delicious! I don't think you would regret making a dining reservation here.
If you are wanting to enjoy a character meal while you are at Walt Disney World, my favorite one right now is
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. Did you know that Topolino means Mickey in Italian? So I bet you can guess who will be joining you during breakfast. If you said Mickey and friends - you're right! This restaurant is located on the top floor of Disney's Riviera Resort and provides stunning views of the Walt Disney Resort. The breakfast is actually all-you-care-to-enjoy even though you order off of a menu. I love the breakfast quiche but who can say no to Mickey and Minnie waffles? Not me, so I order both!
Alfred, I hope you are able to snag all of the dining reservations you want to enjoy for your upcoming vacation. If you have more questions,
I'd love to help!
Have a great day!
