    Hi, Vanessa!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I am so happy to hEAR that you are thinking about purchasing a Walt Disney World Annual Pass! Becoming an Annual Passholder is easy.  You can purchase your annual pass online and link it to your My Disney Experience account right away.  I have several visits to the Walt Disney World Resort planned for this year, so I recently purchased an annual pass for myself.  It would be my pleasure to walk you through the process.

    To purchase your annual pass, first make sure you are logged in to your My Disney Experience account.  Then go to the ticketing page on the Walt Disney World website.  Under the Annual Passes section, click on "Select Passes," and from there you will be able to follow the prompts to select and purchase the type of pass (or passes if you are purchasing for other family members, as well as yourself) you would like.  If you are already logged in to My Disney Experience, your annual pass should "automagically" link to your account.  If it does not, you can simply link it using your purchase confirmation number.

    When you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, you will need to activate your annual pass.  To do this, you will need to bring your purchase confirmation email and a photo ID to any theme park ticketing window or the Guest Relations location at Disney Springs.  Once your annual pass is activated, you will be ready to take advantage of all the benefits of being an Annual Passholder.

    Don't forget to make your FastPass+ selections prior to your arrival at the Walt Disney World Resort.  Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel may make their FastPass+ selections 60 days before their vacation, and guests staying elsewhere may make theirs 30 days prior to arrival.  As long as you link your annual pass to your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to make your FastPass+ selections in advance, even if you have not yet activated your annual pass.
