    How long does it take to get from Animal Kingdom to Magic Kingdom? We are spending the morning (9/8/17) at AK and hope to leave around 12:30 to make it to MK by 1:30ish- is that possible and which WDW transport option is best?

    Thank you so much for stopping by!  I always allow an hour for Disney Transportation from one park to another.  Always. Your estimate is right on the money as far as my planning goes!  Travel time from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Magic Kingdom Park should be 20-25 minutes once you're on the bus.  Do keep in mind you you could be waiting a few minutes for a bus to make its way to your particular stop.  

    You also have the option of busing to one of the monorail resorts and then taking the monorail to Magic Kingdom Park, but sometimes that can end up taking longer than your original plan.
