Hiya, Simone! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney. It looks like you'll be arriving at
Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks--so exciting! You've got a friend in me, and I'm happy to talk transportation to make sure you aren't late for a very important date!
Guests are usually advised to allow 60-90 minutes for travel between locations at Walt Disney World to account for any unexpected delays along the way. Since you'll be staying at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort (great choice!), you can take the Monorail or the handy walking path to
Magic Kingdom Park, then board a bus bound for
Disney's Riviera Resort (the bus ride is about 15 minutes). The buses start running an hour before park opening--this also includes
Early Theme Park Entry, when the parks open an extra 30 minutes early. Since your breakfast reservation is early, this may be cutting it close.
If the bus won't work, you can take a rideshare for a direct trip between the two resorts. In my experience, you can find a ride almost immediately and the fares tend to be quite low. For an extra-magical ride, I also love the
Disney Minnie Van Service that is operated by Lyft. These polka-dotted vans are piloted by Disney Cast Members and can accommodate little ones and even ECVs if you have members of your group with mobility issues. To book a Minnie Van, simply use the Lyft app and be sure to scroll down to see it included in the list of available vehicle options.
Hopefully, this information is just what you need to make it to your delicious breakfast on time, Simone--my planDisney pals often list
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera as their favorite breakfast on property! If you have any other questions as your vacation approaches, please reach out to our planDisney crew anytime and we'll be happy to help. Thanks again for stopping by!
See Ya Real Soon!
