How long should we allow for lunch at Akershus?

    Hi Pamela!

Thanks for bringing this question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have three daughters, and the Storybook Dining experience at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is a family favorite!

I would allow about an hour for lunch at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Upon your arrival, a Disney PhotoPass photographer will be on hand to take your picture with one of the Princesses (usually Belle) before you are seated at your table. Once you are seated, the Princesses will make their way around the restaurant, visiting each table along the way. Your meal will start with a "Taste of Norway" appetizer buffet, featuring Scandinavian seafood, cheeses, sliced meats, salads and fruit. For your main course, you will order off of the menu, which features Norwegian-inspired fare. It's a royal feast!

Quick Tip: There's usually a "Princess Parade" at some point during your dining experience, and the children will be invited to join the processional. This is always the highlight of the meal for my three girls! Don't forget your camera!

I know you will enjoy every magical minute of this royal dining experience, Pamela! Please stop back and let me know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming trip.

    Wishing you magical memories!
