    How long does it take to get from AK Lodge to Africa in AK Park

    Hi Jean!

          Questions about the Walt Disney World Transportation System are my favorite ones to answer! Once you are on the bus at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort it only takes about 5 to 10 minutes at the most (Animal Kingdom is really close to the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort).  Keep in mind that it may take up to 20 minutes for a bus to come to pick you up at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort so you will need to factor that in to your plan.  Then when you get to Animal Kingdom you will need to add about 10 to 15 minutes for going through bag check, the touch points to enter Animal Kingdom (where you touch your MagicBand or RF enabled ticket), and then to walk to Africa within the Animal Kingdom.  So I would recommend planning for 20 to 30 minutes for this particular journey and it wouldn't hurt to budget 45 minutes just to be on the safe side if you have an Advanced Dining Reservation that you are going to.
